Number Geniuses.

A lead comes in. A signed retainer comes out.

Number Geniuses is an intake CRM for law firms, built for employment law first. It captures each inquiry, qualifies it by text, puts the case in front of a lawyer and sends the retainer for e‑signature. The AI assists your staff. It never decides who becomes a client.

The intake overview of a demo firm: five stage counts from Awaiting contact (10) through Screening, Under review and Accepted to Signed (6), above a list of due follow-ups.
The intake overview for a fictional firm. Five stages, from first contact to signed. All screens on this page show invented demo data.

One record per lead, from inquiry to cost per signed case.

Six steps, one place. Each step hands the lead to the next without a spreadsheet in between.

  1. Lead generation

Embeddable intake forms capture the inquiry with its campaign tags and click IDs. A verification score flags likely junk for a person to check. Nothing is rejected automatically.

  2. Intake

Staff work a queue of their own leads. The text agent handles the first conversation on a script your manager controls, and hands off the moment someone asks for a person.

  3. Lawyer decision

Each inquiry gets an advisory case review against criteria your lawyers set. The lawyer reads the evidence and decides.

  4. Retainer

One click builds the engagement letter, sends it for e-signature and tells the client by text and email.

  5. Signed client

The signature status comes back to the lead record, so everyone sees where the retainer stands without asking.

  6. Reporting

Ad spend sits next to signed cases. A manager sees cost per signed case by platform and campaign.

A text agent that sticks to the script.

The intake script is data your manager edits and versions. Code decides the next question. The language model only rephrases it and pulls answers out of replies, so the conversation cannot wander into advice.

  • Consent and quiet hours are checked before every send.
  • STOP ends the conversation at once. Staff can also stop the agent on any single lead.
  • A request for a real lawyer hands the lead to your team, with the reason attached.
  • Every message is logged on the lead's timeline.
  • Scripts are versioned. A chat under way stays on the version it started with.
Riverside Employment LawText intake
  1. Agent: Hi Tomas, this is the intake assistant for Riverside Employment Law. May I ask a few quick questions by text about your situation? Reply STOP at any time.
  2. Lead: Yes, go ahead
  3. Agent: Thanks. Are you still working there, or did your employment end?
  4. Lead: They let me go two weeks ago
  5. Agent: About how many people work at the company?
  6. Lead: Around 120
  7. Status: Two more scripted questions
  8. Agent: That is everything I need. A lawyer reviews every inquiry. I can book a 30 minute call. Reply 1 for Thursday 10:00 AM or 2 for Thursday 2:30 PM.
  9. Lead: 1
  10. Agent: Booked for Thursday at 10:00 AM. You will get a confirmation by text and email.
  11. Status: Consult booked

A synthetic conversation. Nothing was sent to a real person.

A case review card for a demo lead. Merit 84, ready for attorney review. The Employer Size criterion is marked Met, with the quote 'about 120 employees' verified in the intake narrative.
One criterion expanded. The quote is checked against the intake text.

Case review that shows its evidence.

Your lawyers set the criteria and the weights. For each inquiry, the review marks every criterion Met, Not met or Unknown, and quotes the intake text behind the call. The system checks each quote against the source. If it cannot verify the quote, the verdict becomes Unknown.

The review is advisory and visible to attorneys only. It surfaces possible deadlines for a lawyer to verify, such as the 300 day EEOC charge window. It is not legal advice, and it does not accept or decline anyone. The lawyer marks the review done when they agree.

Not enough facts?
The lead is flagged as needing more verified facts instead of getting a score.
Calls too
Call recordings get a transcript, a summary, case facts and red flags, each quoted and checked against the transcript.

Send the retainer without leaving the lead.

When the lawyer accepts, one click builds the engagement letter from your approved template, sends it for e-signature through DocuSign or PandaDoc, and texts and emails the client the link.

The lead record follows the request from there.

  3. Completed

Know what a signed case cost.

Import ad spend by CSV. Each lead is matched to a platform and campaign from its click ID or UTM tags. Marketing then shows spend, cost per lead and cost per signed case, with a plain note on how the matching works.

On the intake side, build the form once, preview it live, and paste one embed snippet into your site. Routing rules send each inquiry to the right pipeline.

E-signature for retainers.
Zapier and webhooks
Outbound lead events, and inbound leads. Each connection has its own secret URL, so one firm's traffic is never mistaken for another's.

Confidentiality is built into the database, not added on top.

MFA is required
Two-factor sign-in is required and enforced in the database. Sign-up is invite only, and idle sessions time out.
Data isolated per firm
Row-level security in the database keeps each firm's records apart, whatever the application code does.
Every action audited
Changes and blocked actions are written to an audit trail.
AI with limits
AI providers are configured for zero data retention, with data collection denied. The AI assists. A lawyer decides.
One gate for every send
Consent, quiet hours and opt-outs are checked before any text or email leaves.
Quiet logs
Application logs redact personal information.
